HOW DO I KNOW IF COUNSELING IS RIGHT FOR ME OR MY CHILD?
Individuals and families decide to enter counseling for a variety of reasons. One thing that all clients have in common is courage. It takes tremendous courage to reach out and seek support on behalf of making change or healing from painful life experiences. Counseling is a relational experience that opens up an exploration of emotions (both painful and positive), memories and interpersonal dynamics. Therapy is most effective when both client and counselor feel comfortable in the relationship, trust in the process and come in ready to work on concerns. I honor open dialogue and feedback about what feels helpful and what does not; in the case that either of us believes our relationship is not as helpful as it could be, I am happy to make a referral. WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
Individual and Family Sessions range from $120 – $160 for a 55 minute session, depending on service. (A limited number of slots are available for sliding scale fee, for those in need. Please let me know if you would like to explore this option.)
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?
I accept cash, check, and credit card, Health Savings Accounts, and reimbursements from in-network insurance panels.

I am currently considered an Out-of-Network Provider for other insurance plans. This means I provide a statement that you can submit for reimbursement to your insurance company. When I am Out-of-Network, you will have to pay for therapy at the time of service. You may want to check your insurance coverage by asking your insurance carrier:
- Do I have Out-of-Network mental health insurance benefits?
- Do I have a deductible that must be met?
- Will I have a co-payment?
- How many sessions are covered?
