HOW DO I KNOW IF COUNSELING IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Individuals decide to enter counseling for a variety of reasons. One thing that all clients have in common is courage. It takes tremendous courage to reach out and seek support on behalf of making change or healing from painful life experiences. Counseling is a relational experience that opens up an exploration of emotions (both painful and positive), memories and interpersonal dynamics. Therapy is most effective when both client and counselor feel comfortable in the relationship, trust in the process and come in ready to work on concerns. I honor open dialogue and feedback about what feels helpful and what does not; in the case that either of us believes our relationship is not as helpful as it could be, I am happy to make a referral. WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE LOCATED? ARE YOU DOING TELEHEALTH?
My office is located at 377 SW Century Dr. #206, Bend, OR 97702. I currently see clients in-person with additional Covid safety protocol in place, as well as via telehealth on a secure video platform.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?
Counseling sessions range from $130 – $250 for a 55-90 minute session, depending on service.
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?
I accept cash, check, and credit card, Health Savings Accounts, and reimbursements from in-network insurance panels.
WHAT INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE YOU IN-NETWORK WITH?
I am an In-Network provider with:
- First Choice Health Network PPO
- PacificSource Commercial Plans
- PacificSource Community Solutions (Oregon Health Plan | Medicaid)
- Moda
- Providence
I am currently considered an Out-of-Network Provider for other insurance plans, and can submit bills on your behalf, but benefits may look different than with in-network providers (sometimes covering up to 70% of sessions). You can check with insurance coverage by asking your insurance carrier:
- Do I have Out-of-Network mental health insurance benefits?
- Do I have a deductible that must be met?
- Will I have a co-payment?
- How many sessions are covered?
Please call me if you have any additional questions about health insurance coverage and I would be happy to help.
